Future Farmers Judging Competition

Kindly sponsored by WA Stud Merino Breeders’ Association and Northampton Stud Merino Breeders’ Association.
Competition will run in two age groups;
- 14 years and under
- 18 years and under
All competitors to register and collect entry form from the Steward prior to 10.00am, in the Ram Shed on Show Day.
Judging will commence at 10.00am and be completed by 12.00noon.
- Merino Ram Judging – four rams to be judged.
- Wool Judging – four fleeces to be judged.
- Grain and Fodder – old season hay, a pasture sod, sheaf of wheat and 20kgs lupins to be judged.
Prizes
- 1st Prize $30 in each class in each age group
- 2nd Prize $20 in each class in each age group
Points awarded for placings, reasoning and handling.
Competitors with highest aggregate points over three sections will be awarded.
- 1st Prize $60
- 2nd Prize $40
Presentation of Prize Money to be held in the Ram Shed after completion of competition.
