Speed Shearing

Get ready to witness the fastest shears in the Mid West at this year’s Northampton Show! Introducing the exciting new Northampton Speed Shears Competition for 2023, where shearers from all over will battle the clock and each other to claim the title of the Speed Shearing Champion. 

It all kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, September 16th, and we have to say, there are a lot of farmers feeling pretty pumped about this. Registrations open at 1pm on the day and cost $35 each, for more information call Joseph Dempster on 0428 680 447.

There’s room for every kind of shearer in this competition, with divisions for both seasoned shearers and those still learning the craft. With a total prize pool of a whopping $5000, the stakes are high, and the competition promises to be fierce.
