Speed Shearing

Get ready to witness the fastest shears in the Mid West at this year’s Northampton Show! Introducing the exciting new Northampton Speed Shears Competition for 2024, where shearers from all over will battle the clock and each other to claim the title of the Speed Shearing Champion.

It all kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, September 14h, and we have to say, there are a lot of people getting pretty pumped about this.

There’s room for every kind of shearer in this competition, with divisions for both seasoned shearers and those still learning the craft. With a total prize pool of a whopping $5,500, the stakes are high and the competition promises to be fierce.
