Billy Cart Race

Make a Billy Cart to complete in a 50m dash on Show Day.

Teams of two, one rider and one pusher.

Can be any size and shape but has to hold one person who must wear a helmet. Wheels can be any size. Cart must be home made and not have a motor. Pusher must have hands on cart at all times.

Building a billy cart from old junk found around the farm was a fun hobby for kids who grew up in the 1950s and ’60s.
